In 2007 the real estate market crashed in large part because lenders were too loose with their guidelines. Today, mortgage requirements have gone the other way and are more restrictive than they ever have been making it harder for people to own their homes. On top of that our financial lives have become even more complex. Countless Americans are excluded from homeownership, not because they can’t afford a home, but because they don’t fit in the box that lenders created. Most of our team doesn’t fit in the box either since we are self-employed… That’s what we are out to change. We are opening up the opportunity to own a home for people that lenders say no to.
